What is "Lutheran"?
What Ministries happen on a Sunday?
What other ministries and opportunities are there?
What is "Lutheran"
The simple answer is that a Lutheran is a Christian... someone that’s a disciple of Jesus.
But, as we know, some people define Christianity in different ways. In the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), we use a very healthy, solid foundation to define our walk as Christians. These documents are called the Lutheran Confessions.
These "Confessions" are summary statements (from the Reformation) that define the basic doctrines found in the Bible concerning Jesus, and what it means that He is our Savior.
We are an evangelical, confessional Christian church.

Ministries
A church home gives a "disciple of Jesus" a great opportunity to team up with others and "do ministry" together.
Here are some of the ministries that we have.

Children's Ministries
We have our Sunday Kid's Connection for ages 3 thru 5th grade and also plan many seasonal events, and outings. All around our efforts are to try and provide a Christ-centered, positive, healthy environment for kids to live with the wonder of God's love.

Youth Ministry
Kids 6th thru 12th grade meet weekly at 9:30 for "Youth Group". There are a number of outings, concerts, and a weekend camp regularly planned into our year.
Youth are an important part of our church planning and have many opportunities to be involved in Sunday ministries and mission trips also.

Bridge Ministry
Our college-age ministry takes efforts to support "church connections" for our own church family that off to school, as well as support the faith walk of young people this age that are in in local colleges or work.
